Clap Beirut

On top of the An-Nahar Building in Martyr's Square, in downtown Beirut, a new Japanese fusion restaurant named Clap opened in 2018.

Mica Sarl, the contractor for the project, installed two bookmatched, back-lit, Oregon Black Walnut slabs to serve as a focal point in the restaurant. They utilized two additional Oregon Black Walnut slabs behind the host station and three more Oregon Black Walnut slabs to frame the wine hallway.

Our favorite part of the project features a single 60" wide Oregon Black Walnut slab door to hide the entrance to the private dining area.
